We’re Hiring: Join our Team as a Communications Coordinator

Azul is hiring a Communications Coordinator.

 

About the Position

Azul seeks to expand our team by hiring a full-time Communications Coordinator. This position will be responsible for the day-to-day communications activities and reports to the Digital Manager.

The Communications Coordinator will be an enthusiastic writer with experience in communications strategy and tactics to support policy campaigns and solutions. They will work to deepen Azul’s presence in the media and advance its mission at national and state levels where Azul’s work is seen, heard, and felt by communities and decision-makers. Their ability to pivot and exhibit flexibility in rapidly changing environments while working independently to manage communications projects and related campaigns will be essential.

The position includes a salary range of $65k-70k and excellent medical and dental benefits, retirement savings, and a generous vacation and sick leave policy. This position is fully remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates near a major airport.

Azul is a Latinx-led ocean justice organization working with Latinx communities to protect the ocean and coasts.
