California’s coastline stretches over 800 miles, offering breathtaking views, diverse marine life, and endless recreational opportunities. Our oceans play a vital role in regulating the earth’s climate, providing food and livelihoods for millions, and supporting a rich ecosystem of plants and animals.
Our ocean is not just water, but a life-giving force that reflects our #Latinx heritage.
At California Ocean Day 2024, you’ll have the opportunity to: LEARN, EXPLORE & CONNECT!
• Learn: Discover the latest legislative bills California representatives will be voting on this year, and join actions you can take to protect our ocean.
• Explore: Immerse yourself in interactive panels and educational opportunities, and engage with experts and organizations dedicated to ocean conservation.
• Connect: Connect with policymakers, elected officials, fellow ocean-lovers, and activists who share your passion for preserving our ocean.
