Azul’s Founder & Executive Director to Testify Before Congress on June 22
WASHINGTON, DC –The Natural Resources Committee is holding two livestreamed events this week, including a June 22 legislative hearing on Raúl M. Grijalva’s Ocean-Based Climate Solutions Act (H.R. 3764).
Grijalva (D-Ariz.) introduced H.R. 3764 on June 8, and for this week’s hearing witnesses include Azul’s Founder & Executive Director Marce Gutiérrez-Graudiņš; Senator Chris Lee (Hawaii State Legislature;) Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, Co-Founder of Urban Ocean Lab; Stephen Guertin, Deputy Direct for Policy, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Nicole LeBoeuf, Acting Administrator, national Ocean Service.
Tuesday’s legislative hearing on H.R. 3764 will include a discussion of multiple bills included in the larger vehicle.
