Applications are now open for the 2024 class of the Rising Leaders Initiative — and we want you to join the wave!
This leadership development program equips emerging Latinx leaders (that’s YOU!) to become ocean champions and advocate for ocean conservation policies.
The deadline is this March 10 but don’t delay! We want to be sure your application is in.
Last year’s first-ever Rising Leaders cohort was able to build their leadership skills and put them to work advocating for ocean justice in their communities. Now, we’re looking for the next group of Latinx leaders who want to build their skills and make a difference locally and globally!
Rising Leaders take part in:
🌊 A week-long program in Washington, D.C., to celebrate World Ocean Day (June 2-8) and celebrate achievements with a graduation reception
💻 Virtual gatherings and workshops in English & Spanish
✨ A $1,200 stipend
